What is Jazzericse? Jazzercise is the world's largest dance-fitness program. You won't exercise to background music-you'll DANCE to the latest music! All of our movements are reviewed by an exercise physiologist for safety and effectiveness. Jazzercise focuses on coordination, balance, flexibility, posture and muscle tone. Jazzercise combines no-impact, low impact, and impact movements. The instructor demonstrates the options and you decide which moves are best for you! We recommend starting with a lighter hand weight (2-3 lbs.) during strength training, slowly increasing as you become stronger. If you have any concerns, at all, don't hesitate to talk to any of the instructors. They are there to help you achieve your fitness goals. Set a goal to come 3-4 time per week at first. Increase to 4-5 times per week to achieve optimum results. The combination of Jazzercise on a regular basis and modifying your eating behaviors can truly be magical. The key to any fitness program is consistency. What makes Jazzercise so effective is that it is FUN and you want to go! What Should I Wear?
Ideal footwear is cross-trainers. Bring a water bottle and a towel. Ladies should always wear a sports bra. |
